Fortunately, grilling season wasn't over after all. Just had another opportunity and made a lovely spice-rubbed rotisserie grilled chicken with this bright ruby red wine made from Nero d’Avola and Frappato. This no-oak red bursts with clean fruits; juicy lively cherry and young berry flavors. The gentle tannins and hint of spice make it an easy-drinking wine alone, before dinner or with lighter fare.
